WHAT IS EMAIL?

Email is short for 'electronic mail'. Similar to a letter, it is sent via the internet to a recipient. An email address is required to receive email, and that address is unique to the user. Some people use internet-based applications and some use programs on their computer to access and store emails.

Ok. This is my email. I was writing this email to ask about information of World Dance Movement-International Dance Competition.

Dear Sir,

I am writing this e-mail in response to World Dance Movement-International Dance Competition which is advertised in a website (http://worlddancemovement.com).

The competition is really interesting. My team was excited when I told this competition to them. We will participate the event if it is possible.

I'd like to ask some information about the competition. I'd like to know whether the competition has duration for the dance performance or not. Could we mix two or more styles of dance in a performance?

How's your life everyone?

This is my seventh project. It's about poster.

What's poster?

A poster is any piece of printed paper designed to be attached to a wall or vertical surface.Typically posters include both textual and graphic elements, although a poster may be either wholly graphical or wholly text. Posters are designed to be both eye-catching and informative. Posters may be used for many purposes. They are a frequent tool of advertisers (particularly of events, musicians and films), propagandists, protestors and other groups trying to communicate a message. Posters are also used for reproductions of artwork, particularly famous works, and are generally low-cost compared to the original artwork. The modern poster, as we know it, however, dates back to the 1840s and 1850s when the printing industry perfected colour lithography and made mass productionpossible."(by Wikipedia)

I just can use Coreldraw. So, I made my poster using Coreldraw and I used Coreldraw x7.

Hi guys. It's been long since my last post.

Today, I'll share about vlog. this is my sixth project in Writing Class.

What is vlog?

A video blog or video log, usually shortened to vlog /vlɒɡ/, is a form of blog for which the medium is video, and is a form of web television. Vlog entries often combine embedded video (or a video link) with supporting text, images, and other metadata. Entries can be recorded in one take or cut into multiple parts. The vlog category is popular on YouTube(by Wikipedia).

What I want to share is my vlog script.

Because of my major in university, many people (I mean my buddies) ask me how to be good at English, what should they do to improve their skills, tips and tricks and so on. It is simple. Love English! Just, love it! So, in this perfect opportunity I will tell you 2 strategies. Ok. First …
5	A and B	A : Hi B. B : Hi. What’s up? You look so pale today. A : Yes, I feel bad. David doesn’t reply my text. He doesn’t answer my call. It has been 5 days. We are on the rocks. What should I do?
11	Me	When you speak or read something, you’ll find a word (or some words or many words) that you don’t know the meaning. It is not a big deal. You can guess or predict the meaning of the word by the context. From the short video, we know that B doesn’t understand with the idiom ‘on the rocks’. Then, she guesses by the context. A look pale today because her boyfriend doesn’t answer her text and call. The boy can be too busy, but he can call A as soon as he has done with his business. It has been 5 days and there is no text from him. It means that there is something between them. So, the meaning of ‘on the rocks’ is they have a problem by the context. So, you don’t have to open your dictionary. To improve you can open it, but it is better for you to predict the meaning first then you open your dictionary. Ok. Let’s jump to the second strategy…
13	A and B	A : (walking) B : (Stop her motorcycle near A) excuse me, Miss. Could you tell me how to get to the post office? A : Yes, sure. Do you see that traffic light? B : (confused face) A: That’s traffic light! (while pointing the traffic light) B : Yeah I see. A : Go there! Then go to the left (it should be turn left). Please go to the right at the second crossroads. When you see the big library, stop! The post office is in front of the library. (Use your gesture to explain the direction) B : How far is it? A : It’s about 5 kilometers.

15	Me	Doing conversation in English for people who are not native speaker is not easy. We can use gesture when we don’t know the word what we are going to say.
17	Me	In that video, we can see that A uses her hands to help her explain the direction. When she said, “Go there!” she points the traffic light to make sure that B can understand what she is saying. Then she said, “Go to the left!” and “Go to the right at the second crossroads!” while doing these (your hands demonstrate turning left or right). So, gesture will help you when you don’t know the word what you are going to say.
18	Me	That‘s 2 strategies when you wanna improve you English. Guess and Gesture. It is easy right? English isn’t hard. It is challenging.
